Doug McIntyre, PhD

Doug has been involved in real estate for over 30 years and has an extensive background in real estate finance, property management, commercial banking and the appraisal of agricultural properties. He has served as a bank officer with financial institutions in Lubbock, Austin, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Victoria, and Abilene.

Doug has managed statewide Trust real estate divisions encompassing over 600,000 acres as well as commercial bank real estate departments with loan and ORE portfolios exceeding $500 million dollars.

Doug holds multiple degrees including a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. He is a graduate of the Advanced Trust School at Southern Methodist University, and currently serves as a Professor of Business Administration and Director of Career Development and Internships in the Kelley College of Business at Hardin Simmons University.

In addition to his professional background, Doug is active within his community having served as Chair of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau, Chair of the Abilene Sports Alliance. He reinstituted the Abilene Agriculture Committee while Chairing the Chamber of Commerce and is also the President Elect of the EXPO Center of Taylor County. He is also active with the Texas A&M Rural Land Conference and has served as the Chair of the Texas Bankers Association Trust, Wealth, and Management Division and the Board of Directors of the Texas Bankers Association.

Doug has worked extensively in multiple real estate capacities and his focus is on the investment needs of our clients and works diligently to fulfill their real estate goals.
