Shane Burgin

Shane Burgin is a native and proud Texan. He was raised in Refugio County, where is family operated a working farm and ranch. Shane learned to love the land, wildlife, natural resources, and the value of hard work through his upbringing. He also came to know the oil and gas, and real estate industries from his immediate family members, who were involved in both.
Shane attended Texas Tech University where he pursued range and wildlife studies and completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Houston – Clear Lake, where he earned a degree in environmental management in 1992. Shane has worked as a contract petroleum landman in Austin Chalk and Eagle Ford plays where he gained extensive experience in title runs, leasing, curative, research, and surface owner protection.
For 30 years, Shane worked managing and directing environmental, health, safety, security, and emergency response compliance for multi-billion-dollar international petrochemical corporations. Shane’s professional career gave him the opportunity to pursue his passion to invest in and manage farm and ranch, and residential properties in Texas and Oklahoma.
