Hunting: The JD Patterson Ranch which consists of over 18,000 acres has been under the MLD program for over 8 years, and is intensely managed! Due to the rains over the last couple of years, it appears that our quail numbers are on the rise again. We have had plenty of rain and there are plenty of insects and other food sources, so we are expecting another good crop this year. There is a very good population of whitetail deer, turkey, quail and feral hogs as well as many predatory animals and varmints.
Minerals: Some minerals available with acceptable contract.
