Rex Detamore

Associate Broker - Rex Detamore was raised in Stamford, TX and graduated from Stamford High School in 1989. His love of Agriculture and the Outdoors was shaped working some weekends and summers on his grandparents farm located in the Haskell County community of Paint Creek. Hunting and fishing were a huge part of his childhood, and he still spends much of his time in the field.
Rex graduated from Tarleton State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business. After graduation, Rex worked for Wolfe Nursery and Garden Centers in Abilene, TX. Here he increased his knowledge of plants, landscaping, and outdoor projects. In 1997, Rex began working for a Steel and Industrial Supplier, quickly moving up the ranks to Regional Sales Manager. Here he managed a sales team servicing an area from Waco to Pecos. While working here, Rex began investing in real estate, first in houses and then moving into farm and ranch property. It didn’t take long for this hobby to grow into a passion.
In 2006, Rex made the transition to real estate and obtained a broker’s license in 2012. He specializes in Farm, Ranch, and Recreational properties. He has also carved out a niche in the quarry industry, locating, evaluating, and selling properties for different types of rock quarries. Investment property is another area where Rex has spent a great deal of his time.
Rex represents both buyers and sellers, and works hard to meet their needs. He strives to provide superior service, and values the trust his clients put in him. He prides himself on building relationships that last well beyond the sale. Many of his clients have become great friends.
Rex and his wife Nicole have a son and daughter, Reagan and Macy. Most weekends you’ll find the family watching Reagan and Macy competing in one of their many sports activities. On off weekends, they enjoy being able to hunt, fish, and just enjoy the great outdoors.
