Driving Directions: From Stamford, take State Highway 6 south toward Avoca. You will turn north on CR 255 and follow that for approximately 1.2 miles. This will be the west boundary line of the Grigsby farm.

Location: The Grigsby farm is located in northern Jones County near the community of Avoca. The farmland in this area is very deep and productive and there are many good farmers if you are looking for an agricultural investment.

Acreage: This farm consists of approximately 164± acres with most of that being in cultivation. The majority of the soil type is Spur Loam, which is one of the most productive soils in Jones County. Water: Co-op water is available from Ericksdahl. Also, the California Creek flows across the southeast corner of the farm.

Hunting: This is not necessarily a hunting property, but this part of the county does have a good population of whitetail deer and feral hogs. Also, the turkeys are abundant along the creek. The California Creek is also a great place to catch catfish if you enjoy wetting a hook.
