Ekdahl Nelson Real Estate is excited to have Becky Wilson join their team of agents as a Haskell real estate agent. Becky looks forward to bringing her unique background and experience to her career as a real estate agent. She will be able to help inform her clients and help them make the best decision on their land or home investment. There are a variety of things to consider when purchasing a place to call a forever home, and Becky is ready to guide her clients through them all.

Becky Wilson grew up in Levelland, Texas where she was raised on her family’s farm. At a young age, Becky was taught the principles of hard work and the value of land. Her family believed in giving their children responsibilities and teaching them how to do day-to-day jobs on the farm. Including running equipment, baling hay, hoeing weeds, and driving tractors and trucks from farm to farm. Becky is grateful for how her upbringing gave her a strong work ethic and insight into valuing land.

After graduating from Levelland High School in 1978, Becky attended South Plains College and then moved to Haskell County where she would build the rest of her life. She worked in the insurance business, and later in oilfield administration. In 1994, Becky married her husband Roy and together they raised their blended family of two daughters, Stefanie and Lesli, and a son, Lee.

Becky and Roy also began building a 30-year outfitting business, Krooked River Ranch Outfitters, serving as a hunting and fishing destination in Haskell, Shackelford, and Throckmorton counties and booking hunting excursions for visitors from all over the world.

Begin stewards of the land has always been a high priority for Becky and Roy, whether managing the land for others or their own. They were the first outfitters in Texas to receive the Lone Star Land Steward Award for land conservation.

In 2020, Becky and Roy retired from their outfitting business and began running a vacation rental property in Haskell County. From the outfitting business to running the rental property, Becky enjoyed meeting all the different people who traveled to their part of the world.

Outside of her work, Becky enjoys cooking and sharing her recipes with those around her. She is involved with cooking seminars at the State Fair of Texas, West Texas Fair and Rodeo Kitchen Spotlight, along with the Texas A&M AgriLife Dinner Tonight with Chef Darlene. She also enjoys traveling to be with her grandchildren and watching them compete in athletics and agricultural events. Becky and Roy are also members of the Bethel Assembly of Anson.
