Ekdahl Nelson Real Estate is excited to welcome Crissy Ward to their outstanding team of agents. Ward comes to Ekdahl Nelson after having a long resume in custom home building and leadership involvement in the Abilene builders industry. She is eager to ignite her passions for people, community, and making dreams come true for others as she serves her clients at Ekdahl Nelson.

Crissy Ward has called Abilene and the Big Country home for more than 40 years. Born and raised in Abilene, she graduated from Wylie High School and then attended Hardin-Simmons University.

Crissy has been in real estate as a realtor since 2017. As a builder’s daughter, Crissy has been involved in the building community, real estate and helping people find their place to call home all her life. She and her father, Mike Ward with Mike Ward Custom Homes, have worked on numerous projects together, including designing and building her own home in 2018.

Crissy enjoys new construction and remodeling and has even flipped a few houses. She hopes to remodel and build more homes in the future. Still active in the Abilene building community, Crissy serves on the board of directors for the Professional Women in Builders Association as the first vice president and the ways and means chairperson. Crissy started in the real estate business because of her love of new construction, and helping her father sell his custom-built houses.

She has expanded her services to other residential properties in Abilene, as well as farm and ranch properties. She has worked in various vocations throughout her life. However, they all had the same underlying role of serving people and helping them realize the next step in life.

As a realtor, Crissy loves working with people to help them find a place to call home. Choosing a place to call home is one of the most important decisions a person will ever make. Crissy understands this and can also relate.

Crissy is by her clients’ side every step of the way. Whether it be a new house, new build, remodel or a farm and ranch property. Crissy will go the extra mile to make the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. She looks forward to continuing to serve families in the Big Country and the surrounding areas, as well as investors and buyers from beyond the area. She is ready to make your real estate dreams come true!

Outside of her career in real estate, Crissy is a hobby beekeeper and serves on the Big Country Beekeepers Association board of directors. She is very passionate about beekeeping and can even help relocate a hive. She is also a bicyclist riding between 30-60 miles a week, most weeks. You might see her riding down FM 1750 or around Buffalo Gap and Tuscola. View her current listings and our residential listings to work with Crissy today!
